The workshop aims to bring together established and early-career researchers working in the broad field of Calculus of Variations and Mathematical Analysis, from Geometric Measure Theory and Partial Differential Equations to applications in physical and geometric models.

Particular attention will be given to topics such as free boundary problems, geometric flows, variational models in elasticity and materials science, and related areas. The goal of the workshop is to foster scientific interaction among participants, encouraging discussions and collaborations that may inspire new directions of research.

The registration for the conference is free but mandatory for organizational reasons. A social dinner will be held on Tuesday, January 20th.

The event will take place at DIISM (Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics, University of Siena).
