Abstract.

We consider the Almgren-Taylor-Wang implicit time-discretization scheme for the volume-preserving mean curvature flow in the N-dimensional Euclidean space and study its long-time behavior for arbitrary bounded initial sets of finite perimeter. Open problems and generalization will be discussed.
