Metrics of constant Q-curvature on R2m and applications

Abstract: We shall discuss metrics on R2m which are conformal to the 
Euclidean metric and have finite volume and constant Q-curvature 
(positive, negative or zero). We will give some geometric and analytic 
conditions under which such metrics have a special (spherical) shape. We 
will also see how this results can be used to prove compactness results 
for sequences of metrics of prescribed Q-curvature.

Prolongations of conformally invariant overdetermined operators

Abstract: We discuss a description of overdetermined conformal operators 
as first terms in the BGG-sequence as developed by Cap-Slovak-Soucek 
and Calderbank-Diemer in 2001.
This representation is used to rewrite the resulting systems of 
equations in closed form, namely as parallel sections of a linear 
connection [H. 2008].
Interesting situations come from the operators governing almost 
Einstein scales, twistor spinors and conformal Killing fields/forms.
