Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to attend a conference held at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, from February 19 to 23, 2018 with title: Sub-Riemannian Geometry and Beyond.

This conference is the first of 5 meetings organized within the ERC project GeoMeG. It brings together international researchers working in various areas of mathematics connected with subriemannian geometry. It will be a gathering of experts in analysis on metric spaces, geometric group theory, Lie group theory, complex geometry, and optimal control.

The meeting is open to all interested people. In fact, we aim to provide preparatory mini-courses during the days before the conference. Young researchers are encouraged to apply for financial support, writing to erc.geomeg@gmail.com
