This in-person workshop will provide a 3-days intensive study and research period on a wide variety of topics in Analysis, with a focus on the study of geometric variational problems and geometric flows, the Calculus of Variations, and the analysis of local and non-local PDE of elliptic and parabolic type.

There will be two short courses (about 5 hours each) by Francesco Maggi (University of Texas at Austin) and Yoshihiro Tonegawa (Tokyo Institute of Technology) aiming at introducing cutting-edge research themes and techniques, together with multiple research seminars.

One key goal of the meeting is to foster the interaction between the experts and the young participants (e.g. Ph.D. students and postdoctoral associates), in order to exchange ideas and establish new, fruitful collaborations.

The meeting is sponsored by the University of Milan "La Statale" and the INdAM - Gruppo Nazionale per l'Analisi Matematica, la Probabilità e le loro Applicazioni.
