The isoperimetric problem is one of the first and most important problems in Calculus of Variation with contact points and implications in many fields of geometry and analysis. The aim of the meeting is to gather international experts and young researchers who are interested in the isoperimetric problem in any of its formulations and ramifications. The topics comprise different notions of perimeter and variational problems both in the Euclidean setting and in the more general setting of metric measure spaces including Riemannian and sub-Riemannian manifolds. The talks will include a series of lectures on the isoperimetric problem on spaces with Ricci lower bounds.

Registration is mandatory, deadline: June 12, 2022

Organizers: Nicola Fusco, Matteo Novaga, Emanuele Paolini, Marco Pozzetta, Eugene Stepanov.
