SISSA, Trieste

This annual event celebrates the achievements of women mathematicians who studied at SISSA, while also reflecting on the challenges women continue to face in academia.

The afternoon will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Marta Fornasier, mathematician and science communicator working at MediaLab.

Following the debate, SISSA Alumnae Sara Daneri, Harini Desiraju, and Giovanna Marcelli will each give a brief scientific talk directed to a broad audience, both in terms of mathematical background and experience.
