Estimates on the nodal set of Dirac equations

Abstract.

Motivated by the spinorial Yamabe problem, we consider the nodal set of a solution of a general nonlinear Dirac equation. By splitting the principal part of the solution, we can show that it is of codimension at least two. Furthermore, by imposing some mild growth constraint, we can show a stratification result for the nodal set. It is achieved throug a suitable concept of frequency function for the spinors. This is based on a joint work with W. Borrelli.
