One world seminar on theoretical machine learning.
While slightly removed from classical problems in the calculus of variations, techniques used in theoretical machine learning include optimal transport theory, gradient flows in Wasserstein spaces and general measure theory. We hope that the seminar series may be off interest to this audience as well.
