Abstract.
We study a Yamabe type scalar curvature ow and describe its associated shadow, i.e. the time evolution of those finitely many parameters, that are responsible for a possible lack of convergence. Under a slight violation of an assumption, that guarantees convergence, we find non compact ow lines. We then will discuss on how to slightly modify the flow by a pseudo-gradient in order to remove the latter non-compactness.
