Postdoctoral position in Calculus of Variations at the University of Ottawa

Candidates should have experience or demonstrated interest in developing a research program in the field of Calculus of Variations. Experience or interest in optimal transport and the mathematical aspects of quantum mechanics is also highly desirable but not mandatory.

The selected candidates will join the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa and will be supervised by Augusto Gerolin. They will have the opportunity to teach an undergraduate course (if desired). This position includes generous funding to support research activities and visits to collaborators (e.g., in Italy, France, Canada, and Brazil).
