A postdoc position in Analysis of PDEs is available in the group of Prof. Richard Höfer in Regensburg.
The start of the position is flexible starting September 2024 or later. The duration is 2 years with the possibility of extending the duration (depending on available funding).
Candidates should be motivated to collaborate on problems related to particle-laden flows at the interplay of fluid dynamics with either homogenization, mean-field limits or kinetic theory, and ideally have some experience in one of these fields.
The salary is 2,500+ euros per month (after taxes, depending on experience level etc.) The position comes with a moderate teaching load (for which speaking German is not required).
