Applications are invited for a

PostDoc position

at the Chair of Nonlinear Analysis at the Institute for Mathematics at the University of Augsburg, Germany (Prof. B. Schmidt) starting as soon as possible.

The appointment will be made for two years. The salary is according to the German public service tariff scale E 13 TV-L.

Applicants are expected to join the research activities at the Chair for Nonlinear Analysis within the Priority Programme 2256 of the DFG (German Research Foundation). The opportunity for further scientific qualification is given.

Job requirements are a PhD in mathematics or physics and a good working knowledge in analysis, in particular in areas such as the calculus of variations, partial differential equations, geometric measure theory, or mathematical continuum mechanics.
