The Department of Mathematics and Data Science of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) opens a Post-Doctoral position in Geometric Analysis. The duration is two years. The starting date is flexible, between October 1st, 2024 and February 1st, 2025.

The successful candidate will work with David Tewodrose and Ann Dooms. The research conducted will lie at the intersection of several research areas in modern geometric analysis, including computational Riemannian geometry, analysis on metric spaces, geometric measure theory and probability theory. Priority will be given to applicants with some knowledge in data analysis, especially in manifold learning, but any candidate with a strong background in geometric analysis will be considered with attention.
