ANR-funded postdoc position - 2 years: Starting before October 2023 in Laboratoire de mathématiques d'Orsay, Université Paris-Saclay. (ANR project GeMfaceT)

The position is funded by the ANR project A bridge between Geometric Measure and Discrete Surface Theories (GeMfaceT).

Main research topics: The candidate is expected to have expertise in at least some of the following areas: calculus of variations, geometric measure theory, surface modelling, geometric inference, geometry processing, interactions of applied analysis and geometry. Experience in programming will be valued though not mandatory.

Practical information: - The postdoc position is full-time for 2 years. - Salary will be adjusted to the experience accordingly to Paris-Saclay salaries grid. - No compulsory teaching duty. - The starting date must be no later than October 2023. - Scientific environment: the postdoc will be part of the Harmonic analysis team of Orsay and depending on their interests, interactions with the INRIA DataShape team as well as the ANEDP team are natural.
