Applications are invited for a

PostDoc position

at the Chair of Nonlinear Analysis at the Institute for Mathematics at the University of Augsburg, Germany (Prof. B. Schmidt) starting at 11.11.2022 or shortly thereafter.

The initial appointment will be made for two years and can be extended. It includes a teaching load of 5 hours per week during lecture time. The salary is according to the German public service tariff scale E 13 TV-L.

Applicants are expected to join the research activities at the Chair for Nonlinear Analysis. The opportunity for further scientific qualification is given.

Job requirements are a PhD in mathematics or physics and a good working knowledge in analysis, in particular in areas such as the calculus of variations, partial differential equations, geometric measure theory, or mathematical continuum mechanics.
