At the Institute for Applied Mathematics in the research group ``Analysis and PDEs′′ the following position is to be filled:

Postdoctoral Position in the Group “Analysis and PDEs” (100%) (f / m / d)

Your responsibilities:

You will conduct research as part of the research group ``Analysis and PDEs“ in a research area related to the interests of the research group

You will contribute to the teaching portfolio of the research group with four hours teaching duties per week (4 SWS)

The following qualifications are required for this position:

You hold a PhD in mathematics and have strong research contributions measured against your stage of career

You have an excellent background in at least one of the following fields: (nonlocal) elliptic partial differential equations, inverse problems for partial differential equations and / or the calculus of variations

You have good oral communication and writing skills in English and German

You have the ability to work independently as part of an international team

The position can in principle be split and comes with a salary in the German pay scale group TV-L E13.

The starting date for the position is flexible, but the position needs to be filled before March 2022. The position is limited to a duration of two years.
