Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI) (c/o Faculty of Mathematics, University of Vienna) in the group “Variational Methods and Applications” led by Paolo Piovano. Applications from candidates in the areas of calculus of variations, PDEs, and discrete models are especially welcomed.

Smart working is supported as the position comes with no constraint for the job location and no teaching/administrative duties (regular presence in Vienna and/or Milano can be considered).

The position is funded through the project “MAMBOing” in the framework of the FWF 1000 Ideas Program.
