3-years postdoc position at HCM Bonn

This is a research-oriented position without teaching duties. However, the successful candidate can choose to teach advanced topics classes at the University of Bonn. The appointment will be for 3 years with a flexible start date no later than October 2021.

Possible research directions include but are not limited to:

geometric evolution equations including multiphase mean curvature flow singular limits of phase-field equations, in particular vectorial problems analysis and development of numerical methods for geometric evolution equations dynamics of material defects including Ginzburg-Landau-type approximations thin films in fluid dynamics and materials science

The successful candidate should have a strong background in at least one of the following areas:

Calculus of Variations Analysis of PDEs Numerical Methods for PDEs Theory of Gradient Flows Geometric Analysis
