The Applied and Numerical Analysis Group within the Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics Section in the Department of Mathematics seeks applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position, starting on 1 July 2020, or soon thereafter. We particularly seek applications from researchers with expertise in control theory, optimization, uncertainty quantification, inverse problems, partial differential equations, numerical analysis of PDEs, machine learning, mathematics of data science, stochastic modelling and stochastic differential equations, as well as those with a track record of interdisciplinary research in the physical and social sciences, biology, engineering, and Data Science.
