A predoctoral position is available at the Universitat de València within the project Bridging Analysis and Geometry via Variational Models (PID2025-174652NB-I00), led by Esther Cabezas-Rivas and Salvador Moll.

The PhD project will focus on geometric analysis, nonlinear PDEs, and the calculus of variations, particularly anisotropic and crystalline curvature flows. Related topics may include geometric inequalities, variational methods, and geometric flows.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Physics, must not hold a PhD, and must be admitted to a doctoral programme at the Universitat de València by the start of the contract. Relevant training in PDEs, calculus of variations, geometric analysis, differential geometry, or geometric flows will be valued.
