PostDoc position

starting at the earliest convenience. The appointment is limited to three years with possible extensions. The salary is according to the German public service tariff scale EG 13 TV-H (full-time).

Applicants are expected to join the research activities at the Group of Analysis (Prof. D. Knees). The research of this group is focused on the analytical investigation of systems of coupled nonlinear partial differential equations coming from problems in continuum mechanics and material sciences. The position also includes a teaching load of 4 hours per week.

Candidates should have a strong background in Applied Analysis, partial differential equations or calculus of variations and should be interested in applications in the natural sciences.
