This message is to announce the upcoming opening of two or three postdoc positions within the project FIS3 GEMS (PI: Riccardo Tione, University of Turin), funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR). This project lasts 5 years (2026-2031) and is inspired by the ERC funding schemes.
Some details regarding the positions:
- the project will take place at the University of Turin, Italy;
- the positions will last 2 years, and can be renewed for up to one more year;
- the precise amount of the salary is not definitive yet, but it will be around 2000-2200 (net) euros per month;
- the positions should open during this summer. The selection process is expected to be completed by the end of October with a starting date by the first of March 2027.

Interested researchers are invited to send a preliminary expression of interest to riccardo.tione@unito.it, preferably by the end of March. They should include a CV and, optionally, a few lines of introduction specifying why they would like to work on the project and how their profile connects to its research topics.
