Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Warwick and BCAM Bilbao

The University of Warwick (UK) and BCAM (Bilbao, Spain) invite applications for a 2 year postdoctoral position in the mathematics of material science.
It will provide the opportunity to work with Prof. Filip Rindler (Warwick) and Prof. Arghir Zarnescu (BCAM Bilbao) and collaborators in the newly-established BCAM-Warwick Joint Lab on Mathematical Material Science and the ERC Project “CONCENTRATE - Concentration Phenomena in Nonlinear PDEs and Elasto-plasticity Theory”. The successful candidate will spend one year working in Warwick and then one year working at BCAM Bilbao, with visits to the respective other institution in each year.
The BCAM-Warwick Joint Lab on Mathematical Material aims to create an international cluster around Mathematical Material Science. The core objectives of this strategic partnership are the development of new models for materials science and their analysis.
