Title: PhD Positions in Probability Theory and Analysis

Research area and project description:

The Department of Mathematics at Aarhus University invites applications for PhD positions in the research group of Professor Fabrice Baudoin. The projects will be in the fields of probability theory and analysis with possible topics including:

Stochastic analysis and geometry Heat kernel estimates and functional inequalities Rough paths theory and stochastic PDEs Markov processes and sub-Riemannian geometry About the Positions

Successful candidates will be part of a dynamic, international research environment and work closely with Professor Baudoin and other members of the probability and analysis groups.

Qualifications and specific competences: Applicants must have: - A master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field (completed or expected before the start date). - Strong background in probability theory, analysis, or related areas. - Excellent academic record and motivation for independent research. - Good communication skills in English.
