The "Third Workshop on Thin Structures" will be held in Naples, at the hermitage: "Eremo SS. Salvatore", via dell'Eremo 87 (Camaldoli), 80131 Napoli, Italy, from Thursday, September 5, to Saturday, September 7, 2013.

The aim of this workshop will be to present and discuss recent results concerning mathematical models of structures with one or two vanishing dimensions, such as thin films, plates, shells, beams, capillary vessels, ...

The registration is free, but mandatory. Due to the size of the conference room, the number of participants will be limited.

The persons who wish to participate in the workshop should return the registration form (see website) to gaudiell at unina.it , before May 1, 2013. The organizers will let them know by May 13, 2013, whether their application is accepted or not.

A few rooms will be available at the hermitage for the participants. Lunch will be served at the hermitage for all the participants. See

There will be no registration fees, but participants will have to pay all own local and travel expenses themselves.

Besides the invited lectures, there will be no oral communications at the workshop, but participants are invited to present posters, which are an excellent way to communicate their own results and to interact in a direct way with the other participants. Participants are invited to submit a poster by sending a title and a short abstract (less than one page) to gaudiell at unina.it before May 1, 2013. The organizers will let them know by may 13, 2013, whether their poster is accepted or not.
