Abstract:

We provide a new rearrangement in Gauss space transforming symmetric sets while decreasing their Gaussian perimeter. We use this rearrangement to analyze the minimizers of the Gaussian perimeter among symmetric sets. The results are stated for the Gaussian measure but can be generalized to any radial measure which is uniformly log-concave.
