Abstract:
We revisit the proof of the existence of the (unique) admissible solution to a class of non-strictly hyperbolic $2 \times 2$ system of conservation laws with triangular structure. We show that this solution can be obtained as the limit of the one of a nonlocal system (involving a convolution term) when the kernel tends to a Dirac delta.
