Abstract:
We study the geometric properties of Lipschitz functions whose gradient takes only a finite number of vectorial values. A typical example is the so-called eikonal system. Functions whose gradient takes only a finite number of values are notably encountered in non convex problems of the calculus of variations and in applications to problems of potential wells type.
