One postdoctoral position is available at the Center for Mathematics, Technical University of Munich, Chair for Analysis, with a flexible starting date no later than October 2021, in association with Professor Marco Cicalese. The position is funded within the SFB Transregio 109 "Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics''. The appointment is offered for two years in the first instance. At the end of the second year the possibility of an extension for an additional year will be considered. The successful candidate will join the research activities of the group and contribute to the development of the project "Geometric rigidity in spin systems''. This is a research-oriented position without teaching duties. However, the successful candidate can choose to teach advanced topics classes at the Technical University of Munich.
