MAFF 2025 is devoted to bringing together emerging and established researchers in fluid mechanics who investigate analytic problems by means of variational techniques. The main topics are: - existence results, - uniqueness and non-uniqueness, - construction of solutions, - generalized solution concepts, - selection criteria, - relative entropy methods, - asymptotic behavior.
Limited funds for the support of young researchers are available.
We gratefully acknowledge funding by the Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+, the Collaborative Research Center 1114 "Scaling Cascades in Complex Systems", the Priority Program 2410 "Hyperbolic Balance Laws in Fluid Mechanics: Complexity, Scales, Randomness", and the Weierstrass Institute Berlin.
Organizers: Thomas Eiter, Robert Lasarzik, László Székelyhidi.
Speakers: Danica Basarić, Stefano Bianchini, Elisabetta Chiodaroli, Eduard Feireisl, Björn Gebhard , Boris Muha, Alexis Vasseur, Emil Wiedemann, Aneta Wróblewska-Kamińska, Ewelina Zatorska.
