The meeting will take place at the Centro Congressi Panorama in Sardagna (Trento), a building perched on a ravine dominating the city of Trento. The place can be reached in five minutes from downtown Trento, by means of a cable car located near the main Railway Station.

The aim of the workshop, organized by the Research Unit in Calculus of Variations (Department of Mathematics, University of Trento), is to offer an outline of the present state of some recent topics of Geometric Measure Theory and the Calculus of Variations.
