TU Wien - Vienna

This workshop is a joint event organized by the Special Research Program SFB 65 (a consortium venture, currently joining 17 applied-PDE groups at the University of Vienna, at TU Wien, and at the Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Austria), the ERC Advanced Grant "Emerging Network Structures and Neuromorphic Applications" and the Vienna Center for Partial Differential Equations.

The workshop focuses on the interface of biological models and applications and their mathematical analysis and simulation and aims to strengthen interactions between scientists from applied mathematics and biosciences. It will feature a series of invited talks as well as some contributed talks and a poster session. A Distinguished PDE Lecture given by Benoît Perthame will also be part of the activities of the workshop.
