The Hausdorff School on “Modeling and Analysis of Evolutionary Problems in Materials Science” will take place from 23rd to 27th September 2019 at the Mathematics Center in Bonn, Germany.
The school will consist of four main lecture series:
- Céline Grandmont (Paris): Modeling and Analysis of some Fluid-Structure Interaction Problems
- Josef Málek (Prague): PDE large data analysis for unsteady flows of non-Newtonian fluids
- Alexander Mielke (Berlin): Variational methods in time-dependent material models with finite-strain deformations
- Mark Peletier (Eindhoven): tba
Financial support for PhD students and postdocs is available. In case you are interested in participating, please submit your application until 15th June 2019 by using the online form on the conference webpage. Please notice that registration is mandatory for participation. Everyone will be informed in due time about whether a participation and financial support is possible.
