Abstract.

Coupled geometric flows have attracted sporadic interest and the theory is still at an early stage. In certain geometric settings such couplings can be particularly useful. One known example, concerning the coupling MCF+Ricci Flow, appears in the context of Lagrangian submanifolds in Kaehler manifolds. We will review this fact, then discuss ideas for analogous couplings in the context of almost-Kaehler and G2 manifolds. This is joint work with Jason Lotay (UCL).
