Abstract.

In a recent work with Matthieu Rickly (University of Bern) we have found a characterization of isoperimetric sets in the Heisenberg group, under convexity assumptions. We will present this problem illustrating the key points leading to its solution and we will discuss the main questions that remain still open.

The seminar will be held in Sala Riunioni of the Mathematics Department, from 17:30 to 19:00. There will be a coffee break between the preliminary part and the subsequent exposition of results and techniques.
