The international Doctoral Training in Mathematical Sciences in Paris - MathInParis2020 - offers 40 PhD fellowships (20 in 2021 and 20 in 2022).

This program has received funding from the European Union within the framework of the European Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, under grant agreement n°945332.

The main features of the program is to enhance the potential and future career perspective of young researchers by offering : 1- an extremely attractive place in FSMP network for international brilliant students planning to prepare a PhD in mathematics 2- a strengthened advising 3- a broadened support for career development.

MathInParis2020 is the extension of the doctoral training program COFUND MathInParis that began in 2018 and offered 40 PhD fellowships in 2018 and 2019.

This program will support only PhD projects with an advisor that belongs to the FSMP network. More information can be found at the links below

The first call is now open and will close on Saturday February 13th 2021 (11:59 P.M., Paris time).

Selected fellows will start their PhD in September-October 2021.

Mobility rule: Applicants may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in France for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the deadline of the co-funded program's call, i.e. from the 13th of February 2018 to the 13th of February 2021.

Early-stage researchers: Candidates must have a master’s degree or an equivalent diploma at the time of their enrolment and must be in the first four years of their research careers. Moreover, they must not have been awarded a doctoral degree.
