PhD position in Applied Analysis and Calculus of Variations - University of Münster

Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD position (75% TVL13) in the group of Caterina Zeppieri (Applied Mathematics - WWU Münster, Germany) within the framework of the DFG (German Research Foundation) priority program:

Variational Methods for Predicting Complex Phenomena in Engineering Structures and Materials (SPP 2256)

The candidate shall have a Master degree in Mathematics (or in a closely related field). Applications from candidates who are are about to finish their Master program are also welcome.

The successful candidate will benefit from the stimulating environment and the facilities of the Cluster of Excellence "Mathematics Münster: Dynamics - Geometry - Structure"

The expected starting date is October 1, 2020 although a later starting date is also possible.

The email shall include the following documents as a single pdf attachment: a cover letter, a CV (including a transcript of records), a copy of the master thesis (or an extended abstract if the thesis is not available at the time of the application).
