Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD position (75% TVL13) in the group of Caterina Zeppieri (Applied Mathematics - WWU Münster, Germany) within the framework of the DFG (German Research Foundation) priority program:

Variational Methods for Predicting Complex Phenomena in Engineering Structures and Materials (SPP 2256)

The candidate shall have a Master degree in Mathematics (or in a closely related field). Applications from candidates who are are about to finish their Master program are also welcome.

The successful candidate will benefit from the stimulating environment and the facilities of the Cluster of Excellence "Mathematics Münster: Dynamics - Geometry - Structure"

The expected starting date is October 1, 2020 although a later starting date is also possible.
