Two-year PostDoc position at TU Dortmund, Germany

Applications are invited for a 2-year postdoc position in the group of Peter Bella (Fakultät für Mathematik, TU Dortmund, Germany) within the framework of the DFG project

"Limiting Theories in Material Science: Mathematical derivation and Analysis".

Details of the position:

Postdoctoral Position (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin - Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) Salary Level E 13 TV-L, 100 % (about 50K Euro brutto per year)
This fixed-term position is available from the earliest possible date. The initial appointment is for two years with the possibility of a prolongation afterwards. There is no teaching load, but the candidates will be allowed to teach if desired.

The ideal candidate shall have (or be close to obtain) a PhD in Mathematics (or in a closely related field) and a strong background in one or more of the following areas: the calculus of variations, PDEs, homogenization.
