The Faculty of Mathematics of the Technical University of Dresden intends to appoint a Professor (W2) of Mathematical Optimisationat the Institute of Numerical Mathematics with effect from 1st April 2020.

As holder of this chair, you are representing a broad range of aspects in mathematical optimisa-tion. With your publications and third-party funding, you are making a significant contribution to the development of innovative research. You have an interdisciplinary background and the ability to work with partners in mathematics and with colleagues across disciplines. The research alliance DRESDEN-concept offers excellent prospects for this purpose. In teaching, you will be involved in all of the faculty's courses of study as well as in non-mathematical study programmes.
