We announce a PhD position in applied mathematics, under the supervision of Edoardo Provenzi (Unité UMR CNRS 5251, Institut de mathématiques de Bordeaux, Université de Bordeaux) about variational models and related algorithms for human vision and colour perception.

A background on Lie groups and algebras or differential geometry is preferable.
