I invite applications for a three years PhD position and a one year Post-Doc position (with possible extension, if funds will be available) under my supervision, in the Applied Analysis group at the Department of Mathematics of TU Darmstadt.

Research topics are Partial Differential Equations, in particular hyperbolic conservation laws, fluid dynamics, convex integration, transport with irregular flows. The Ph.D. position is for three years, the Post-Doc position is for one year. In both cases extensions will be possible, if funds become available. The starting date is October 1, 2020 (with some flexibility). The net salary is around 1350€ per month for the Ph.D. and 2350€ per month (or higher, depending on previous experience) for the Post-Doc. In both cases, medical insurance is included and a family allowance is available, if applicable. There is a light teaching duty (usually 2 hours per week, in English).
