The conference issues by a joint initiative within the Italian and French communities working in sub-Riemannian geometry and control. It includes speakers from several countries and welcomes international participation from all over the globe. The conference is aimed at exchanging on the latest results in the research areas of sub-Riemannian geometry and geometric control theory.

This will be the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of Andrei Agrachev in these fields, in the occasion of his 70th birthday.

The conference will be held in Cortona, at Palazzone di Scuola Normale Superiore.

All participants for the conference are required to register. Registration is free and closes on 15 February 2023. Registration online on the conference webpage

A limited amount of funding is available for young participants (PhD students and young post-docs). Requests for financial support must be made (by writing to subriemannian@gmail.com) before 15 February 2023.
