The main themes of the workshop are shape optimisation, spectral inequalities, Robin and Steklov eigenvalue problems, properties of eigenfunctions and solutions to PDEs. The workshop aims to bring together both senior leading figures and younger emerging experts in these fields, in order to discuss the latest advancements and open problems and provide a platform for new collaborations within these themes. More than 50 participants are expected, both from the U.K. and from around the world. The workshop is organised in partnership with the Clay Mathematics Institute. The support of the ICMS, the Clay Mathematics Institute, the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research, and the London Mathematical Society is acknowledged.
