The scientific fields of shape optimization, free boundaries, and the calculus of variations are recently blossoming with fresh and exciting ideas both for theoretical aspects and for applications. The workshop aims to gather leading international experts in those fields alongside postdoctoral and Ph.D. researchers in order to intensify international collaborations and develop new ones.
The workshop will take place in the Roscoff Biological center in the north of Bretagne in France. By the support of the ShapO French ANR, travel and lodging fees can be reimbursed for young researchers.
