The Workshop focuses on the application of the phase-field method in different areas ranging from Engineering to Biology. In particular, issues connected with modeling, shape optimization, inverse problems, optimal control problems related to various applications ranging from fracture problems to tumor growth dynamics will be investigated. The Workshop is sponsored by the Cariplo- Regione Lombardia project MEGASTAR of the Mathematical Department of the University of Pavia and under the patronage of the strategic projects 3D@Unipv Lab and CHT of the University of Pavia.
