Cortona, Palazzone
The goal of the program in Nonlinear PDEs in Geometry and Physics will be to bring together researcher who are working PDEs with connections to differential geometry and mathematical physics. Some of the areas represented by the invited speakers will include: • Non-local minimal surfaces. • Higher order elliptic and parabolic equations. • Fully nonlinear equations. • Geometric Evolution Equations.
The meeting will have the following format: • There will be three lecture series consisting of three talks, the first of which will be introductory in nature and aimed at graduate students. • There will be one-hour lectures, grouped by mathematical theme. • There will be special sessions consisting of shorter talks.
Organizers: Alice Chang, Matthew Gursky, Angela Pistoia.
Speakers: Panagiota Daskalopoulos, Manuel Del Pino, Luis Silvestre.
