The conference will be opened (November 2) by
Claudio Baiocchi, Franco Brezzi, Piero Colli Franzone, Mario Ferrari, Giuseppe Geymonat, Claudio Verdi,
who will present Enrico Magenes' contribution to Mathematics from a personal and historical perspective.
The social commitment of Enrico Magenes is the motivation for a panel discussion (November 2, evening) on
L'impegno civile e sociale dell'uomo di cultura,
