The effect of the domain topology on the number of positive solutions of nonlinear elliptic problems.
In this seminar I present an article by Benci and Cerami (1991) in which they show that the Dirichlet problem of the Laplacian with a power source term admits at least as many positive solutions as the Lusternik-Schnirelman category of the domain. http://cvgmt.sns.it/seminar/492/
