The School of Science and Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in the area of Applied Mathematics.
The successful candidate will join Dr. Paolo PIERSANTI's research group.
The candidate is expected to work full-time on an NSFC-funded research project on the mathematical analysis of models in glacier mechanics.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or any closely related field. Any experience and skills in the following areas are strongly preferred:
•Evolutionary Partial Differential Equations
•Nonlinear Analysis
•Mathematical Modelling
•Fluency in spoken and written English
The appointment is for two years.
The position comes without teaching duties.
The earliest starting date for this position is January 1, 2026.
The total salary over two-years is 640,000 RMB (approximately 88,960 USD).
